This place felt like home, the family couldn't have been more welcoming. Spotlessly clean with breakfast that was the best Sri Lankan food we've had. Highly recommended! Backpacker-friendly.

Felt snug, no reason to complain.

I recently stayed at a homestay in Kandy called Travellers Home for two nights. The hosts, Mahesh and Manik, along with their children, were incredibly friendly and made us feel like part of their family. They served us delicious Sri Lankan breakfast and dinner, which were the best meals we had during our entire trip. The room was clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. The whole area had a small living room, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and a lovely terrace. The family was always available and helpful, and they even provided us with a takeaway breakfast when we took the morning train to Ella. They also gave us great advice on what to see and do in Kandy. it was an amazing experience, and I highly recommend this homestay.

What an amazing stay we had! The family running the place was the sweetest ever! They made us feel like home. The rooms were spotless and beautifully decorated. Oh, and the homemade breakfast and dinner were out of this world - so tasty! Another great thing was the location - a bit outside of the town, but no worries, it was easy to catch a bus or tuk-tuk. We'll definitely miss this place and hope to come back someday.

The only downside was that the hotel was a little bit far from the city center. However, it wasn't a big issue as there were public buses and tuk-tuks available to get us there without any trouble.

I had an amazing stay at Travellers Home! The family running the guesthouse was incredibly kind and welcoming. They even woke up early to clean my room when I arrived in the morning. The breakfast they served was absolutely delicious and made with so much love. The wifi was the best I've experienced in Sri Lanka. The only downside was that the guesthouse is a bit far from the city center, but a short tuk tuk ride easily solved that. I highly recommend this place for its friendly atmosphere, great food, and excellent service.
